How To Take Action
Because of what we’ve done together, pre-k expansion is a priority in NJ!
NJ’s state-funded, full-day pre-k has become available to more of our state’s 3- and 4-year-olds – and in more than 110 communities. However, there’s much more to do: tens of thousands of kids across hundreds of communities remain waiting…
Both the governor and NJ’s legislative leadership are committed to pre-k expansion. Governor Murphy has been clear about his support for full expansion (and universal pre-k) within four-years as stated in his March 2018 Budget Address. While visiting a new pre-k expansion district in early 2019, Governor Murphy made it personal, “I am committed to continuing pre-k expansion” in our state. How can you make it personal? Check out each box below for the many ways you can take action. Also: let your school district officials know that you want pre-k expansion in your community!
